Customer Requirements

Datastor.io’s Commvault access nodes (Media Agents) assume a role in your AWS account to discover EC2 instances and perform snapshot‑based backups. You create that target role and allow Datastor.io to assume it.

Prerequisites

• AWS permissions to create an IAM role and attach policies in your account.

• The Welcome Email you received including Region and ARN
